Quadrophenia es una película británica de 1979 basada en la ópera rock de 1973 Quadrophenia. El reparto está formado por Phil Daniels interpretando el papel protagonista de un mod llamado Jimmy. Aparecen también Toyah Willcox, Mark Wingett, Leslie Ash, Ray Winstone, Timothy Spall, Phil Davis, Michael Elphick, Kate Williams, Sting, Gary Shail y John Altman. Fue la ópera prima del director Franc Roddam.

En 2004 la revista Total Film catalogó la película como el trigesimoquinto mejor film británico de todos los tiempos.

SKIN

Película basada en hechos de la vida real. Narra la historia de Frankie Epstein, un joven con padre sobreviviente de la segunda guerra mundial. Ubicados dentro de los Países Bajos en 1979.

La unión con su padre es pésima y se vuelve peor aún, cuando su madre es hospitalizada por cáncer. Esto hace que comienze a salir a la calle en busca de una identidad.

Primero se junta con Jeffery, un chico skinhead de color, quien le introduce el conocimiento acerca de la cultura skin. Pero mas adelante conoce a Robert y su grupo de skinheads NS, llegando a ser uno de ellos.

Luego de una pelea con una pandilla de jovenes Surinameses, Frankie apuñala a uno y acaba en prisión.

La verdadera historia data en 1983, cuando Nico Bodemeijer asesinó a un muchacho Surinamés de 15 años. Su padre era judío y se le registró tatuado en el brazo "100% blanco". Aún sigue en prisión.
